Known for glitzy night lights and all-night casinos, Las Vegas stands on that alone for fame the world over. But new industries and companies have moved here providing jobs for many. Las Vegas is one of the fastest-growing cities in the U.S. with a population of 520,397. Population in 2010 is supposed to be around 630,491 with a metropolitan population in 2010 of about 1,950,000. The Las Vegas Metro Area already is larger than the Cleveland and Cincinnati Ohio Metro Areas, and is expected to grow to over 4 million by 2025, which will push it past the present Seattle, Phoenix, Minneapolis-St.Paul, Detroit, Tampa-St.Petersburg, Baltimore and Denver Metropolitan Areas.
